39 year old male presenting with acute knee pain from insidious onset. The pain is on the lateral border of the patellar tendon of the right knee. He has pain with walking and climbing stairs. There is pain with palpation at the tendon and with flexion/extension of the knee while in a supine position. He rated the pain before treatment at a 4 out of 10.
