There are no pre-requisites for Module 1.
How will the classes be transmitted?
All classes will be live-streamed via the Zoom app. The link to join the class will be sent a few days before the class.
Will there any video recordings offered after the live-streaming?

What time do classes start and finish?
Classes start at 9 am and finish at 5 pm (PST / UTC -7).

Joshua Herr, MS, Dipl Ac & CH (NCCAOM), LAc (Charlotte Class)

Josh Herr is an instructor for the Academy of Acupuncture and an eternally dedicated pupil of the late Dr. Richard Teh-Fu Tan. After graduating in 2000 from Bastyr University with an MA in Acupuncture and a Chinese Herbal Medicine Certificate, he discovered the therapeutic value of the Balance Method and began studying with Dr. Tan in 2006.
Since then, he has been committed to the application of the Balance Method in both his practice and his continuing education. As a lecturer for the Academy of Acupuncture, he seeks to reinforce the importance of the Balance Method as a critical tool for diagnosis and treatment.
Currently the Clinic Director of the Chinese Acupuncture & Herbology Clinic in Asheville, NC, Josh seeks to round out his acupuncture treatments with herbal formulations, for a comprehensive approach to treating the whole patient.
Christian Saint-Pierre, RAc. (Montréal Class)

Christian Saint-Pierre, R.Ac is the owner and chief acupuncturist at Access Acupuncture in Halifax, Nova Scotia and the developer of Bazi Balance Acupuncture. While studying acupuncture, Bazi, Feng Shui, and Qi Gong with the late Dr. Richard Tan, Christian began to develop and integrate classical and cutting-edge concepts into his practice, including chrono-acupuncture and Shen therapy.
He has continued his deep interest and development of these areas, offering a truly holistic and well-rounded treatment approach to his patients. Christian received his certification from the Academy of Classical Oriental Sciences in Nelson, British Columbia.
Eileen Yue-Ling Han, PhD, LAc.

An exclusive, lifelong disciple of her Shifu (master) Dr. Richard Tan, Eileen Han is passionately dedicated to continuing the practice, inspiration, and influence of the Balance Method, his extremely effective, world-renowned acupuncture methodology.
In 1999, Eileen began her medical studies and an apprenticeship in Dr. Tan’s San Diego, California clinic. As his student, she honed her implementation of the Balance Method, eventually becoming one of the top 5% of leading practitioners of the methodology worldwide. Over the past 15+ years, Eileen has continually honed her skill into a healing art, bringing relief and wellness to countless, thankful patients through her clinic practice.
Eileen holds a PhD in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from American Liberty University in Newport Beach, CA and a Master’s Degree in Oriental Medicine from the University of East/West Medicine in Sunnyvale, California. She supplements her formal and practical education with continuing studies in Ba Zi and Chinese face reading.
