Are Continuing Education Units (CEUs) earned with Si Yuan Balance Method Acupuncture recognized as valid by the Academy of Acupuncture?

All CEUs earned from 2015 through December 2018 with Si Yuan will transfer over. Please contact us to coordinate the transfer of these credits.

Will my CEU credits earned under Dr. Tan's instruction (pre-2015) be recognized by the Academy of Acupuncture?

Yes. Please contact us to coordinate the transfer of these credits.

I have already registered for additional seminars with Si Yuan for 2018. Do I need to re register for those classes with the Academy?

No. These seminars are transferable and you will not need to reregister. However, moving forward in 2019, you will need to register on this website to take Academy-led classes, separate from Si Yuan.

When will registration begin for 2019 Academy of Acupuncture trainings?

How do I register for Academy of Acupuncture trainings?

You can register online or call us directly to sign up for classes. On the website, click the “All Events” dropdown, select your desired seminar, choose to set up an account, and register for seminars. You will receive an automatic email confirmation upon receipt of your request.

Do I have to create an account to register for a class?

No, however there are many benefits to creating an account. Once you are in the system, uploading your CEU credits to your account is seamless and allows safekeeping of these data over time. Additionally, a secure account makes it easier to update your contact information and profile data and view your history with the Academy.

What is the deadline to register for classes?

We accept registration for classes until the start of the first day of the seminar. We highly recommend pre registering for coursework, however if you wish to sign up on the first day of the seminar, you must call the day before (10AM-5PM) to secure your space.

Can anyone take any class (ie, Modules 1, 2, e and Advanced Track)?

Core Foundations courses are open to anyone and recommended as an introduction to the Balance Method. Other courses, such as Advanced Track, require completion of foundational coursework and seminars.

Can I pay my registration fees with a credit card?

Yes, we accept major credit cards on our secure online portal. If you prefer, you may also provide your payment details and register over the phone.

What is your cancellation policy?

An 80% refund will be offered if we receive your cancellation at least 7 business days before the first day of the seminar. No refund of any kind will be issued after the 7-day grace period. You may cancel your registration with 24 hours notice for a full credit towards a future seminar within the next 2 years.
